職務内容

同社の経済企業調査部（東京勤務）にて、リサーチレポートの編集業務に従事していただける英語ネイティブの方を募集しています。We are seeking a native English speaker to work as a research report editor in the SBI Securities equity research department in Tokyo.

・リサーチレポート編集者
日本の証券アナリスト等が日本語で作成し、機械翻訳を用いて英語化された企業セクター・マクロ経済に関するリサーチレポートの編集業務です。ここでの「編集」には、英文のリライトに加え、レポート全体の数値や論理構成の入念なチェックが含まれます。
また、リサーチアシスタントと頻繁にやり取り（チャット等）を行う必要があるため、基本的な対人スキルやコミュニケーション能力も求められます。

今後のキャリアパス
新入社員のジュニアエディターのキャリアパスは、通常の場合、数年かけて現場経験を積み、その後シニアエディターになるという流れになります。（シニアエディターとは、株式調査部門の上級メンバーのことです。）

・Research report editor
This involves the editing of company, sector, and macro research reports originally written by Japanese analysts in Japanese and translated into English using machine translation. "Editing" the machine-translated English reports includes some English re-writing and a careful number/logic check of the entire report.
The position also requires frequent communication with research assistants (via chat, etc), so basic people/communication skills are also needed.

★Ideal for:
English native speakers who are looking to become professionals in a Financial Research Department setting. Commitment to living in Japan is also a positive.
Should already have excellent English writing skills, and should be prepared to climb a rather steep learning curve to become familiar with "research report writing", accounting and business concepts, and basic information for around 400 Japanese companies in 20 industries.

ビジネスや会計の知識があると非常に役立ちますが、適任者に対しては必要に応じてトレーニングを行います。トレーニング修了後は、チームの一員として自律的に業務を遂行できることが求められます。
