・We are looking for a thought leader, designing a corporate strategy and driving strategic alliance with external major companies to join us as Director, Manager or Associate in Strategy team in Corporate Division.
Any candidate must proactively and ambitiously engage in broad range of strategy roles and help board of directors to create a big picture, energetically cooperate with not only other corporate functions but also sales, marketing and engineering team.
・The successful candidate will drive our corporate strategic activities with high morality and professional mind, which satisfy both internal expectations by board of directors and auditors, in addition to external alliance partners, professionals and investors.
Thought leader: Be a thought leader for our truly unprecedented business, identify synergies among multiple strategic partners, keep our corporate strategy at the core of all functions and help leadership engage with senior leadership and team members.
Strategic projects: Lead multiple strategic projects at the same time to drive business forward and harness external perspective with internal business knowledge‐
The successful candidate will be expected to be ambitious and aggressive about expanding his/her role, to catch up unknown knowledge or unexperienced fields within strategy areas
If the candidate is to be a Manager, he/she will be required to drive designing corporate strategy and/or partnerships with external entities independently, with much less supervision.
Responsibilities and Duties
・Be a liaison between strategic partners and our company, consolidate the ideas gathered from the sales/marketing team and prepare the presentation deck used for the regular project meeting with multiple external people concerned.
・Manage partnerships processes related to new market expansion research, evaluation, investments and execution.
・Monitor the financial results through individual partnership, cooperating with Finance and business team and help board of directors and management committee members to make appropriate decisions.
・Qualify potential partnerships which accelerate our sales activities or enhance our product development(ex. we focus on unchallenged product opportunities, while we maximize the existing competitive products available in the market, provided by other external enterprises).
・Support Discounted Cash Flows (DCF) Financial Modeling by Finance team, how much potential partnership increase our Enterprise Valuation.
・Lead the development of our corporate strategy, become the central point of designing our future. Strategize on new market entry strategies including approaches for overseas similar fintech market, continuous watch on emerging wealth management fintech companies in both domestic and overseas market.
・Build consensus among cross‐functional teams, influence decision‐making within senior‐level audiences, and drive management team decisions.
・Embed strategic thinking and a long‐term vision into our company to drive better decision making with business team leaders specially for new market expansion projects that are consistent with our corporate strategy. Also, plan and propose any good company wide frameworks or processes, to realize successful results based on the strategy
・Continuously analyze market(especially competitive landscape related with our key products, understanding our internal product development efforts), industry, regulatory, technology trends via personal and event networking, technology meet‐ups, cold outreach, and industry research, and incorporate them into a comprehensive growth strategy that extends our capabilities and financial performance. Leverage this knowledge to help educate product teams and evaluate business opportunities.
・Work with the rest of the Corporate team, especially with Finance, Compliance and People(HR), and business team(Sales/Marketing) teams to drive new market expansion strategies into the annual strategic and financial planning processes.‐ Drive continuous improvement for the strategy function to drive consistency and sustainability

〇Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
〇If he/she is to be a Manager or above, minimum 3 years of consulting experiences at major strategy consulting firm or strategy division of major consulting firms(his/her specialty in consulting agenda must be corporate strategy and/or alliance related), working for a major listed company or multi‐national companies
〇Ability to work comfortably with business leadership and different teams cross‐functionally.
〇Ability to multi‐task and meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure.
〇Ability to adopt a broad perspective and link business strategies to specific initiatives. Strong grasp of the our business and industry trends to drive successful strategies
〇Strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a time sensitive environment
〇Superior ability to write structured and compelling messages addressed to various audiences both internal and external people concerned
〇Strong relationship skills and ability to build alignment among customers and key stakeholders
〇Self‐starter and high level of accountability and able to solve ambiguous/ open ended business challenges
〇Exceptional MS Excel, PowerPoint and Business analysis skills
〇TOEIC score above 850 (Equivalent score of TOEFL or IELTS is acceptable)
〇Native level Japanese speaker
